Kukuva is for sharing the happy moments of an event. These rules apply to everyone who uses it, hosts and guests alike, and to everything added to it: photos, videos, text and voice messages, names, event names, link names, designs and images. They are part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Content that is not allowed
- anything illegal under Cyprus or EU law
- child sexual abuse material of any kind. We report it to the police and remove it at once
- sexual or intimate images of anyone without their clear consent, and sexual content in general
- content that harasses, bullies, threatens or humiliates someone, or shares their private details
- content that incites hatred or violence against people because of their origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any similar trait
- violent or shocking content shared to upset people
- photos or videos taken where people expect privacy, such as changing rooms or bathrooms
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, such as a professional photographer's work shared without permission
- adverts, spam, scams, or links to harmful sites
- event or link names that impersonate someone else or mislead people
2. Use that is not allowed
- spreading viruses or other harmful code
- trying to get around package limits, for example with several Free events for one occasion
- probing, scanning or testing our security without our written permission (if you find a weakness, please tell us at [email protected])
- overloading the service, or copying content from it in bulk with automated tools
- reverse engineering the service, except where the law allows it
- reselling or renting out Kukuva without our written agreement
- using someone else's account or event without their permission
3. Hosts look after their event
Hosts decide who is invited and how the album is set up, so they are the first to look after what is shared. Hosts can turn on approval before anything is shown, hide or delete any item, and remove it from the photo wall. Please act quickly when a guest asks you to remove a photo of them.
4. How to report content
If you see something on Kukuva that you think is illegal or breaks these rules, you can ask the host of the event to remove it, which is often quickest. You can also report it to us at [email protected]. Please include:
- the link to the event, and which item it is (a link or a clear description)
- why you believe it is illegal or breaks these rules
- your name and e-mail address (not needed for reports of child sexual abuse material)
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete
We confirm receipt and handle each report promptly, carefully and objectively. We may contact the host. We tell you what we decided and why. We do not monitor albums in general, so reports help us a great deal.
5. What we do
Depending on how serious the case is, we may:
- hide or remove the content, or disable access to it
- ask the host to deal with it
- suspend uploads, the event or the account
- close accounts that break these rules repeatedly
- inform the police or other authorities when the law requires it, or when we suspect a crime that threatens someone's life or safety
- keep the information we need as evidence, for as long as the law allows or requires
When we remove content or restrict an event or account, we tell the host or uploader what we did and why (a statement of reasons), unless the law forbids it or it would harm an investigation. If you disagree, reply to our message and we will review the decision. You can also go to the courts or, where available, to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
6. Contact point
Our single point of contact for users and for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act is [email protected]. We answer in English and Greek.
