Celebrating in Limassol
Limassol mixes a busy seafront with a green hinterland of wine villages. It is one of the most international towns on the island, so a wedding or a company party here often brings together Cypriots, Greeks, British, Russian, Ukrainian and Israeli guests in one room. That makes it a natural fit for Kukuva’s guest pages in English, Greek and Russian.
Typical venues
- Seafront hotels with terraces, lawns and ballrooms, popular for weddings and corporate galas.
- Marina and old port venues, modern restaurants and event spaces by the water.
- Wineries and estates in the wine villages north of the town, with vineyards, stone buildings and long views at sunset.
- Village churches in the hills, small and full of character, often with a reception nearby.
- Beach clubs and rooftops for birthdays, bachelor parties and summer events.
Tips for Limassol events
- Sunset and the sea. Outdoor receptions by the sea get strong light until late in summer. Place the live photo wall in shade or under cover, and plan to switch it on once it gets dark.
- Wind on the coast. Table cards blow away at seaside venues. Use card holders or stick the QR code to menus and place cards.
- Wineries and hill venues. Mobile signal can be weak among the vineyards. Ask the venue for guest Wi-Fi and print the network name next to your QR code. Uploads continue where they stopped when the signal drops.
- Mixed languages. Choose the event language most of your guests read, and write your welcome message in two languages. Every guest can switch the pages to English, Greek or Russian with a tap.
- The long season. Limassol’s outdoor season runs from April into November. Book a screen or projector early in the peak months, when venues have events every weekend.
Corporate Limassol
Limassol is home to many international companies, and their events need privacy and brand control. Pro gives you approval before anything shows, an album password, your own link name and no Kukuva branding. See corporate events and conferences.
