Why Kukuva exists

Think of the last wedding or christening you went to. The photographer took beautiful pictures, but the moments that made everyone laugh were on the guests’ phones. Your cousin filmed the first dance from the best angle. A friend caught the grandmother dancing. Someone recorded the speech. And most of it never reached the people who threw the party.

Some of it went to WhatsApp groups and got compressed. Some stayed on phones and was forgotten. Asking two hundred guests to send their photos after the event rarely works.

Kukuva fixes that with something everyone already knows how to use: a QR code. Guests scan it, the album opens in their browser, and they add what they took. No app to download, no account to create. Everything lands in one place, and the hosts keep it.

Who we are

Kukuva is made by TKOCY LTD, a software company based in Cyprus. We design, build and run Kukuva ourselves, and we answer support ourselves too. When you call or e-mail us, you talk to the people who make the product.

The name

Kukuva comes from κουκουβάγια, the Greek word for owl. The owl watches over the night and sees everything, which is what we want our album to do at your party. That is why our logo is a white owl on pink.

What we care about

Simple for guests. Your guests range from teenagers to grandparents. If a step needs explaining, we remove it. Scanning a code and tapping a button should be enough.

Built for real venues. Stone churches, crowded halls and gardens far from the mast. Uploads continue where they stopped when the signal drops, and photos from every kind of phone just work.

Honest pricing. You pay once per event, with no subscription and nothing that renews. You can start free, and when you upgrade you pay only the difference. Prices exclude VAT and invoices show it clearly.

Your memories are yours. Photos are stored in the EU, location data is removed from shared photos, and files are deleted when your storage time ends.

Local languages. Guest pages speak English, Greek and Russian, because that is who comes to celebrations in Cyprus.
