Learn moreKukuva is made in Cyprus, and it is built for the way people celebrate here. Weddings with hundreds of guests, christenings that turn into long lunches, name days, company nights by the sea. The guest list is big, everyone has a phone, and the best photos usually end up scattered across a dozen WhatsApp chats. Kukuva brings them into one album.
Works in every venue
Guests open the album in their phone’s browser. There is nothing to install, so it works the same in a city hotel ballroom, a restaurant in an old village or a garden venue outside town. Uploads continue where they stopped when the signal drops, which matters in stone churches, basements and courtyards far from the nearest mast. If a venue has guest Wi-Fi, print the network name next to your QR code and uploads go even faster.
Seasons and light
Cyprus has a long outdoor season. From April to October most receptions happen outdoors, often after sunset, and guests take many of their photos in the golden hour before the meal. A live photo wall on a TV or projector looks best once it is dark, so plan the wall for the evening part of the event, or place a screen indoors or under cover. In winter, celebrations move inside to halls and restaurants, where a TV next to the bar or the dance floor works well.
Languages your guests speak
Guest pages are in English, Greek and Russian, and each guest sees their own language. That covers most gatherings on the island, from family events to international weddings in Paphos or Limassol.
Pick your area
Below you will find notes for Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, Ayia Napa and Famagusta, and the Troodos villages: the kinds of venues you will find there, the season, and what to think about on the day. Wherever you are, the steps are the same. Create your event, print the QR code, and let your guests do the rest.
